This policy covers information collected through our website. Protected health information ("PHI") that we create or receive in the course of providing care is governed separately by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this policy.

Analytics and Session Activity

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the Site. Microsoft Clarity may use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data and to capture session activity such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and pages visited, which may be presented to us as aggregated analytics and session replays. This helps us improve the Site's content and usability. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy terms. We configure available privacy settings to limit the capture of information entered into form fields; even so, please do not enter sensitive health information into the Site outside of our secure booking or contact channels.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Site and our practice (for example, our website platform Squarespace, our booking provider Tebra, and our analytics provider Microsoft), who may use the information only to provide services to us;

  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Black Psychiatry, our patients, or others; and

  • In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or sale, subject to applicable law.

Cookies and Your Choices

Most web browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you disable cookies, some features of the Site may not function properly. You can also opt out of certain analytics collection through your browser or device controls.
